Govt Jobs or Private Jobs – Which way to go?

India had received its freedom in 1947, and since then we are struggling to improve our literacy and employment rate. Though these factors are not yet very well in our country, but we have made growth over the time. Both private and government sectors have played their role in employment in India. Both sectors recruit many young graduates to give them a chance to work in their organizations. Then, how can we differentiate between govt jobs and private jobs? How to figure out which one is better? Let’s try to find the answer in this post.
govt vs private jobs

Benefits of Government jobs:

• God salary and perks: With a govt job, you receive decent salary and also extra benefits. You usually receive your salary every month on time, which is not right about private jobs
• Lifetime Pension: Pension is also an advantage of having a govt job. Even after retirement, you will receive some pension for rest of your life.
• Good free time: Government job timing is limited unlike private offices’ 8-10 hours of work. You will get a lot of time for your family and other things and tasks.
• You do not need many skills: In order to survive in a govt job, you need not to possess many skills. You can manage with whatever qualification you have.
• Other perks: Unlike a private job, in government sector, you get many benefits along with your salary. You get housing facility, healthcare, insurance and other allowances including TA and DA.
• Vacation: Your government job gives you many government holidays along with enough numbers of paid leaves and workload is also less.
• Job security and social security: With govt job, you will get job security and also, good reputation in the society.

Benefits of Private Jobs:

• Promotions: in private jobs, you will get frequent promotions based on your work performance, which is not judged in a government job.
• Salary: Salary package in private jobs is higher than govt sector. Promotion and increment depend on your performance.
• Recruitment process: Hiring process in private jobs is faster as compare to government jobs recruitment process.
• Suitable Working environment: working environment in private offices is better than a govt office. It motivates the employees and improves job satisfaction.
• Skills over experience: In private sector jobs, skills and knowledge are preferred over experience. If you have good knowledge, you can easily overtake a person having more experience, but fewer skills.

As a conclusion we can say that both government and private sectors have their own advantages and shortcomings. One should choose a career where he can adjust better.

Why is it Important to Practice in Exams?

Exams are of many types including school exams, college/university exams, competitive exams, job exams, interviews, etc. At every step of our life, we go through many kinds of examination. In an exam preparation, we usually consider both study and practice. Study is about reading subjects and improving your knowledge about a particular exam, but what is the importance of practice? Why is it necessary to practice in exams?

exam practice

The answer can be concluded in just three words: Practice makes perfect. This is true in every aspect of our life. If you want to gain expertise in anything, you will have to practice. Exams are not actually about gaining expertise, but you at least need to have proper understanding of the subject in order to pass it. This is why it is important to practice in an exam. When you study a topic, you must give at least one third time for practice. When you read something, you can remember it maximum for one day without revision, but if you revise it within one day, you can remember it at least for one week. This is the power of practice.

practice for exam

Practice may include revision of the topics, practice with mock tests, sample questions and problems, reading again and again and analyzing. As much you practice a topic, longer it will stay in your mind. Our mind works such that whatever we read is stored at various levels in our mind. Now, as much we practice a topic, more it will be upgraded to the upper level.

Technology changing the face of Education in India

Education is being a big concern in India. No matter how better the country is doing in economy and finance, but education is always being a drawback of India. Being the second highest populated country in the world, India is still somewhere lacking when we talk about the education. The present condition of education in India is not anyhow better than the past. We may be growing in the number, but we are lacking in the quality.

education and technology

Though the condition is not completely out of hands yet, and there is still hope for the recovery if we take the right steps. Use of technology in the education is one of those methods that can help us recovering the quality of education in India. Technology has taken a big part in our daily life in present time. From early morning to late night, we use thousands of technology gadgets and services. Education is also not remained untouched of this. The face of education is somehow shifted partly from books to ebooks. Technology can be used in almost every part of the education system. From books and study material to the method of teaching, everything is going virtual with the help of latest technology means. Technology will not only change the face of the education, but can also change the way the education is provided making it faster and easier to grab.

Though many of Indian schools and colleges have already started using technology means to better up their education system, still a big part of our country is unaware of this change. We need to make sure that the technology is available to every corner of the country making it a part of the whole education system.

What is the future of Government jobs in India?

Being one of the most popular and desirable job sectors in India, government jobs are always being first choice of Indian people. There are many reasons behind the fact that people prefer government sector over private jobs. These reasons include easy timing, less work burden, high pay scale, job security and many more. Private sector jobs are usually not very pleasing apart from the salary offered. People in private sectors find more work stress as comparison to govt. sector employees.

govt jobs india

If we talk about the future of government jobs in India, we find it very pleasing. Indian government has two parts: central government and state government. Both types of government jobs have their own roles and benefits. Both central and state governments recruit thousands of candidates each year for various posts in various govt. departments in India. There are also many banks in India that come under government sector. Both private and government sector banks recruit many candidates every year. Various online Exams in India are organized for recruitment in government sector.

Due to such popularity and demand of the government jobs in India, this has become the highest employing field in India. Government organizations provide jobs both for graduates and undergraduates candidates. I think the above discussion is sufficient to prove the value of government jobs in youngsters. If you are also one, who is looking for a government job, you can apply for a suitable position. You can find the latest advertisement and recruitment notification on a job or education portal in India.
